Description | Great Harwood's new pump track is a purpose-built attraction for young riders located at the central Game Street car park, replacing the former skate park. The project is part of wider regeneration efforts supported by the High Street Accelerator Programme and aims to provide a safe and engaging space for children and young people to enjoy cycling and wheeled sports. The track was designed and built by Clark and Kent, the team behind the London 2012 Olympics BMX track. Additional improvements include an extension of the car park with more than 20 new spaces and upcoming mural artwork and landscaping around the track. |
