​Great North Oakley Creek slip is an active slip that is undermining the stability of the footpath and a section of Great North Road. Urgent measures are required to stabilise the area that will impact on AT's assets namely the walking and cycling path and the roadway. should the slip impact on the road and require lane closure this would cause major traffic congestion. This project is to stabilise the affected area utilising Cutter Soil Mixing (CSM) method and involves: Aquiring a small section of land from BP Site establishment, disestablishment and environmental protection Semi permanant traffic management in place Removal of pathway and retaining wall Ground stabilisation using CSM Re-build a section of road lane, pathway and retaining wall
