Description

Description

Great River Water Club is an upscale marina and housing project off River Road in Shelton, Connecticut. The project includes 35 condos, 110 apartments, a restaurant, a medical office building, and boat storage along the Housatonic River. The developers plan to modify the project by eliminating the medical office space and adding 10,000 square feet to accommodate a new racquet facility featuring five pickleball courts and six padel courts. The racquet facility will be open to the public for membership, and the restaurant will also be open to the public. The project includes three six-story residential buildings, a three-story building for a rowing club, a 128-berth marina, and storage for 100 small boats. The site covers 11.98 acres across four parcels on River Road, including the former Autoswage building site. The developers are seeking approval to modify the Planned Development District to include the public club concept.
