Description | The Green Chile Project is a nearly 18-mile pipeline proposed by Energy Transfer's Transwestern Pipeline Company to supply 400 million cubic feet of gas per day from El Paso to private power plants for the Project Jupiter data center in Doña Ana County, New Mexico. The $60 million pipeline crosses mostly federal lands and some private and state trust lands. The Bureau of Land Management expedited the review process to allow construction of a 16-mile portion of the pipeline, shortening the federal environmental review from a year to 14 days under emergency permitting powers. |
