Green Competition Policy Toolkit in Peru

This project will support i) the development of an analytical framework for the identification and elimination of anticompetitive regulatory restrictions that limit both domestic and international entry/expansion in key sectors to fight climate change, and ii) the drafting of guidelines to support efficiency enhancing cooperation among competitors to promote/comply with green transition policies, with all competition guarantees. The project will focus on priority sectors for sustainability (e.g., cement, agricultural inputs, and transport) where there will be direct engagement with stakeholders. The project will engage with INDECOPI as a key partner to ensure that the tools developed can be effectively implemented.
