Description

A partnership of startup company Cyan H2 LLC and the Fort Peck Assiniboine and Sioux Tribes, to be known as Assiniboine-Sioux Hydrogen Company, is considering constructing a green hydrogen plant, carbon dioxide sequestration facility and wind energy farm at the Fort Peck Reservation in Fort Peck. The project scope includes construction of buildings, a substation, a connector pipeline, and monitoring and injection wells; erection of wind-powered generators on tubular steel towers; and purchase and installation of electrolyzer units, hydrogen and fuel tanks, transformers, and gas purification equipment. The wind energy farm would have the capacity to generate 1 GW of electric power. An EPC firm has been preselected for the wind farm.
