The projects emphasize early and meaningful community engagement to gain and maintain a social licence to operate, supported by a Green Hydrogen Community Development Toolkit commissioned by GIZ in 2023. The projects follow a phased approach including preparation, stakeholder engagement, community development planning, programme implementation, and monitoring and evaluation to ensure sustainable social development alongside technical and financial success. |
