Description | The Green Mundus project aims to develop an accredited Joint Master program in the Psychology of Climate Action, contributing to the EU priorities: European Green Deal, Economy that works for people, A just transition. This interdisciplinary program, delivered in English, will integrate psychological science, climate policy, and cultural studies, equipping students with the green skills to design and implement evidence-based climate action, engage communities in sustainability, and social justice. This proposal addresses the growing demand for green jobs in Europe, and shall improve graduate employability in both public and private sectors. To achieve this, a Green Mundus Consortium has been formed, bringing together six institutions from EU and non-EU countries, fostering knowledge exchange between the Global North and South: · University of Oslo, Norway · De La Salle University, Philippines · Mykolo Romerio Universitetas, Lithuania · Université Paris 8, France · University of the Aegean, Greece · SWPS University, Poland - coordinator The research expertise and diversity within the Consortium, and effective management strategy shall allow the development of a joint programme, providing training for behavioural specialists who can facilitate technological and policy changes at individual, community, and societal levels. The Consortium partners have a long-standing track record of previous effective collaboration, including: the European Reform University Alliance, advancing democratic values, green and digital competences, and teaching innovation. SWPS University and the University of Oslo possess substantial, shared expertise in the design and implementation of Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's (EMJM) programs, demonstrated by their ongoing collaboration on the GLOBAL-MINDS program since 2016. |
