Anson Resources has received regulatory approval for a Small Scale Mining Operation to produce 10,000 tonnes of lithium carbonate annually at its Green River Lithium Project in Utah. This development marks the final major government permit required for the processing plant. The company updated its processing plant layout to reduce ground disturbance, capital costs, and project construction infrastructure needs, aiming to establish the operation as the lowest capital-intensive lithium carbonate producer in the United States. A definitive engineering study has commenced to determine exact cost savings and is expected to finish in early 2027. The privately owned site in Emery County provides direct access to the national rail network and interstate road systems.
