Description | The use of green energy will increase by 10 % in start-ups and SMEs in Öresund, Kattegat and Skagerrak. This is the goal of the Greenbizz project, which will help companies discover which parts of their operations have the highest carbon footprint. Start-ups and SMEs often perceive green energy investments as more risky than conventional investments. In order for companies to move towards more renewable energy, changes in business practices and often investments in high technology are needed. The project, run by three higher education institutions in Denmark, Sweden and Norway, will help companies overcome these obstacles and thus motivate them to increase their renewable energy consumption. The goal is to increase the use of renewable energy by 10 %. The project will work with a total of 60 start-ups and SMEs in Denmark, Norway and Sweden. In addition, they will cooperate with advisors, consultants, business associations, stakeholder organisations and other projects in the area. |
