Description | A pipeline project initially planned to carry climate-friendly hydrogen across the Navajo Nation to markets in Arizona and beyond. The project is part of a larger initiative by Tallgrass Energy Partners LP to create a hydrogen economy centered in Farmington, New Mexico, including hydrogen production, carbon sequestration, and repurposing a coal-fired power plant to hydrogen-fired. The pipeline plan was changed to carry natural gas or a natural gas-hydrogen blend instead of pure hydrogen, which reduces the environmental benefits. |
