Description	The proposed project aims to strengthen the country's power transmission infrastructure to (i) enhance grid stability for bulk power transport to a major demand center in the country and (ii) increase reliability of power supply, in response to rapidly growing electricity demand and renewable energy capacity. The project will: (i) construct 55 km of new double circuit 230 kilovolt (kV) climate-resilient power transmission line from New Krakor to New Kampong Chhnang Town 2; (ii) expand the Electricite du Cambodge's (EDC) 230 kV, 115 kV, and 22 kV substations capacity; and (iii) strengthen institutional capacity of EDC.
