The general objective of our current CE Media Co-Development Support application is to develop our upcoming project GROUND ZERO, in co-development with The East Company Productions (Romania) and to be co-produced with Toy Cinema (Ukraine) with the ambition to reach the highest artistic standards. GROUND ZERO is an art-house film set in modern Ukraine that explores how historical truth and identity can be erased, using as an example the citizens of a mono-industrial city built during the Soviet era. We will support our writer and director Zhanna Ozirna to tell this story, which is based on her personal experiences. The final expected result is to improve the distribution possibilities of our project GROUND ZERO at a European and international level. Our development strategy includes improving the script, locking our cast and creative team, concluding our location scouting and finalising our visual concept and marketing materials. Our partnerships in financing, distribution, marketing, and sales will ensure the development of GROUND ZERO into a feature film that will attract an international audience and promote our European values.
