Description | The Groundwater Recharge Station project will allow the University to store millions of gallons of excess storm water collected by the campus’ storm water reclamation system and store it in the underground aquifers. The project will also help the campus to meet the state MS-4 permit requirements and the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA) which requires local water users across California to bring groundwater use to sustainable levels by the early 2040s. |
