Information Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas has come up with Group Gathering Station, Lakwagaon with a ticket size of 495.59 INR Crores. This project in Exploration & Production sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Notice to Proceed and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project OIL is developing Lakwagaon Oil field, which is located between Demow and Moran town in the District of Sivasagar, Assam. As part of field development activities, OIL is constructing an integrated production facility, hereinafter called Group gathering Station - Lakwagaon [GGS-Lakwagaon]. The GGS will consist of the three primary process facilities- An OCS [Oil Collecting Station] for separation of well fluids [oil, gas, water] & dehydration of crude oil. [OCS Capacity- 2,000 KLPD gross liquid and 0.45 MMSCMD Gas] An ETP [Effluent Treatment Plant] for filtration of formation water for re-injection into the reservoir, with a STP [Sewage Treatment Plant] for processing of sewage water/ storm waters. [ETP Capacity- 1,000 KLPD] A WIS [Water Injection Station] for re-injection of ETP outlet water/bore well water into the reservoir. [WIS Capacity- 1,500 KLPD]
