Description | Growing Entrepreneurship Across Regions (GEAR) proposes to enrich the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs scheme with the vast knowledge and leverage of the proposal Partners’ experiences, gained from previous phases of the programme, in addition to their capabilities which have accumulated through their long-standing operations within the field of entrepreneurship. During this, consortium members have been able to nurture and expand their relationships with third party network of stakeholders within the fields of entrepreneurship. Consequently, the Partners are well equipped to attend to the specific critical issues as recognised in the COSME work programme, and further highlighted in the current call for proposals and Quality Manual. The proposed consortium is comprised of seven partners in seven different EU countries therefore in conclusion the consortium is wide reaching, well versed in the operations of the programme and have the skills, knowledge and expertise to deliver the project efficiently and effectively. The aim of the project is to assist in the alleviation of EU unemployment by supporting the creation and growths of new start-up businesses, which will consequently lead to the creation of new jobs. This will be done by assisting new EU entrepreneurs to enrich their experience, deepen their knowledge and expand their networks by spending periods in established enterprises run by experienced entrepreneurs in other participating EU states. While providing additional support using consortium member’s services (aftercare) to further assist in the launch and growth of new Start-ups. |
