 Synteko Produtos SA ("Synteko") and Apolo Produtos de Aco SA ("Apolo"), two companies of the Grupo Peixoto de Castro ("GPC") group, intend to expand their capacity and modernize their existing facilities through a three-year investment program. Apolo is involved in the production of steel pipes and Synteko is involved in the manufacturing of branded consumer cleaning products (such as floor waxes, furniture polishes, varnish products -for domestic and commercial usage-), resin and adhesives.The proposed project consists in (i) implementing a new steel pipe line in replacement of an old one, (ii) implementing a new resin plant in Uberaba, Minas Gerais State (with a production dedicated to Satipel, an MDF producer) and (iii) implementing a three-year expansion and renovation program of its existing resin, adhesives and floor wax facilities.
