In May 2009, a local company Logan Group was granted an agreement to construct and operate the 4 lane 198km Guigang-Wuzhou highway project connecting Guigang City and Wuzhou City in Guangxi Province. The total investment was about RMB 9 billion (US$ 1,287.55 million). Construction is expected to commence at the end of 2009 and finish in three years. Logan owns 100% of the project.
