The capacity will be deployed on the roofs of 11 chicken farms in Guangze County and will power poultry farms and residents while feeding extra power back into the grid. Following completion, the PV project is estimated to generate 45 million kWh of clean power per year, equating to 37,900 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions. Sponsor is state-owned power company China Three Gorges (CTG).
