Guben Lithium Converter Cost Reduction Project

Rock Tech Lithium is reducing the annual operating costs of its Guben lithium converter plant in Germany by 23%, cutting about 27.7 million euros to a total of 93.1 million euros. The savings come from more efficient transport, logistics, reagent supplies, and fixed fees. The company is also negotiating a long-term clean energy deal with Enertrag SE to reduce energy costs and is reevaluating capital spending plans to achieve further savings. These cost reductions aim to make the project more attractive to investors and support Europe's battery supply chain ambitions.
