Description | Rock Tech Lithium Inc. has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ENERTRAG to secure a long-term supply of renewable energy for its planned lithium hydroxide converter in Guben, Germany. The partnership aims to provide sustainable and competitive electricity supply, ensuring planning security for operating costs and contributing to the decarbonization of European industry. ENERTRAG plans to deliver at least 70 GWh of renewable electricity per year from new wind and solar power plants in the neighboring Polish municipality of Gubin, covering at least 50% of the converter's expected electricity demand from commissioning, and at least 50% of total electricity demand from 2030 onwards. |
