Guinea - Guinea Bauxite Company Rehabilitation Project (GBC)

The Guinea Bauxite Company Rehabilitation Project (GBC) is part of a global rehabilitation programme for the Guinea Bauxite Company Rehabilitation Project (GBC). This program aims to maintain the company's quality and production volume. The project consists in maintaining the qualitative and quantitative level of bauxite exports by CBG by opening a new mine in Bidikoum and processing the mixture (current production of Sangaredi and Bidikoum) in existing industrial facilities (Kamsar) that have been completely rehabilitated. The project components are the following: (A) studies, design engineering and works supervision; (B) installation of bauxite pre-treatment plant; (C) procurement of mining equipment; (D) Sangarédi power station; (E) rehabilitation of the plant; (F) social infrastructure; (G) environment; (H) intercalary interest.
