The policy aims to position Gujarat as a globally competitive clean energy hub, promote investments, innovation, grid stability, and support large-scale renewable energy integration including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). It also supports wind repowering, refurbishment, emerging renewable technologies, rooftop and distributed renewable energy, and private sector participation. |
