Gujiao City First Sewage Treatment Plant Reconstruction Project

The project comprises the reconstruction and operation of a sewerage treatment plant, located at Taixin Integrated Economic Zone (Gujiao District), Gujiao City, Shanxi Province, North China. A concession of 30 years has been awarded to a consortium of the companies China Engineering Environmental Technology Co., Ltd., China IPPR, and China National Engineering Corporation (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. under ROT model. The name of the project company is China Engineering Environmental Science (Gujiao) Water Co., Ltd. There is Government support to the project, but the amount has not been stated. The total investment is $29.85m or 216,385,600 yuan. The debt financing is around $10m, as no lenders have been disclosed. The total treatment capacity is 40,000 m³/d, and the project adopts the conventional ground-type sewage treatment plant construction mode.
