The project under construction aims at four laning of the existing two lane road on the stretch Guna- Biaora on National Highway – 3 (NH-3), which has a total length of 93.5 km in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Jalpa Devi Tollways Limited is the project company, incorporated and wholly - owned by Dilip Buildcon Ltd. (DBL). Project company has entered into a 26-year Concession Agreement with National Highways Authority of India under a design-build finance-operate and transfer (DBFOT) modality on toll basis. Concession contract was awarded after a competitive bidding process with bid criteria being the lowest grant requested from NHAI. Financial closure/appointed date was achieved on September 7, 2016. Project cost has been reported at Rs. 1081.9 crore and is being funded by debt financing of Rs. 654 crore ($98.28 million), capital subsidy of Rs 27 crore ($4.06 million) and equity contribution of Rs. 400.9 ($60.25 million). The Scheduled Commercial Operations Date (SCOD) for the project is March 06, 2019.
