German technical and medical gases firm Guttroff GmbH has picked Austria-based Wolftank Group AG to deliver the refuelling infrastructure for its green hydrogen production and distribution project near Würzburg in Germany. The project includes a public hydrogen filling station with dual dispensers for 350 and 700 bars, allowing distribution of up to 1,000 kilograms of hydrogen per day, and a trailer filling station with four refuelling points. It is located in Dettelbach and designed to cover the entire value chain from production to end use in the local mobility sector. The project involves installation of a 5-MW electrolyser supplied by ITM Power, a compressor line, a hydrogen storage facility, and refuelling stations. Production start is targeted for May 2026.
