Description | Pacifico Energy plans to build an off-grid power generation campus at GW Ranch in Pecos County, Texas, designed to support data centers and artificial intelligence operations. The project will use combined cycle natural gas turbines with advanced battery storage capable of delivering 5 gigawatts of power. The development spans more than 8,000 acres and aims to avoid grid interconnection delays and regulatory hurdles. The first 1 GW is scheduled for delivery in 2028, scaling to full 5 GW capacity by 2030. |
