Description

Description

Information HEnergy has come up with H-Energy Gateway LNG Terminal with a ticket size of 2034 INR Crores. This project in Oil/Gas/LNG Storage sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Not Applicable Economic/Social Impact of the Project HGPL intends to build an infrastructure for Storage & Regasification of Liquefied Natural Gas [LNG] for potential customers like power plants and other industrial consumers. The Project is located at Jaigarh Port, Ratnagiri. The Project is based on tolling concept wherein a third party will be able to access Project facilities for import, storage & regasification of LNG and subsequent send out of natural gas to consumers on a firm and long term basis. The Terminal shall comprise of jetty based LNG unloading facilities to accommodate LNG ships, LNG transfer pipelines, two 190,000 m3 net capacity full containment LNG storage tanks, a boil off gas recovery system and heat exchange based vaporization system [utilizing heat integration with adjoining JSW power plant]. The electrical supply for the Terminal will be provided from dedicated Gas Engine Generators located within the Terminal. The Terminal shall be designed, built and operated in accordance with the applicable Indian and International codes, standards and guidelines. The Terminal shall be designed for safe, continuous and reliable operation for a service life of at least 30 years, unloading, storing and vaporising LNG and sending out 8.0 MTPA under standard conditions and 10 MTPA at peak load of natural gas into the pipeline system connected to a high pressure distribution network. The Terminal shall be designed to satisfy gas customer demands at the gas delivery points. The Terminal shall not require a complete scheduled shutdown during its operating life. Inspection and maintenance of equipment shall be completed whilst retaining natural gas send out. High overall availability of the Terminal will be ensured by suitable redundancy of plant and equipment and by specifying a well proven design in similar service.
