It is located in the Upper Silesia region of southern Poland and is expected to produce about 13,000 tonnes of green hydrogen annually for use in heavy industry and transport. The project has been approved for up to €143 million of government funding by Poland's national development bank BGK and was previously approved for state aid by the European Commission as an Important Project of Common European Interest (IPCEI). |
