Habitat for Humanity-MidOhio Playhouse Project

completed

A playhouse project at Nationwide Arena sponsored by the Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation and the Central Midwest Carpenters Union to raise money for Habitat for Humanity-MidOhio's affordable housing work. Volunteers and union members painted and assembled custom playhouses for children in Franklin, Licking, and Madison counties. The project raises funds that are directed toward building real homes for families in central Ohio and serves as an introduction to Habitat's work for volunteers.
