Description | In May 2015, a local private company Beijing CM Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd. and its subsidiary Qinghai Shenxue Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. signed a Public Private Partnership agreement with the Haidong Municipal Government to finance, build and operate the Ledu District Wastewater Treatment in Haidong City, Qinghai Province. The concession term was 30 years including construction duration. The total investment was US$ 21.47 million (RMB 142.63 million). Beijing CM and Qinghai Shenxue each owned 51% and 19% of the project and the remaining shares belong to the local government. The design treatment capacity of the plant was 40000 tons per day. Construction commenced in January 2016. By July 2016, 95% civil works and 80% of equipment installation had been completed. |
