Description
Description | The project consists of rehabilitating deteriorating water and sewer infrastructure in the Village of Haines Junction (dating back to 1960). The utility pipes are reaching the end of their useful life and have begun impacting the community’s operations and maintenance. Additionally, Infrastructure Canada has funded Phases 1 and 2 of upgrades as part of Clean Water and Wastewater Fund and Small Communities Fund. Phase 3 was funded under the Investing In Canada Fund. The project scope will include 1,100 m sanitary sewer main, 500 m sanitary sewer services, 1,170 m watermain, 510 m water services, 665 m of roadways, 535 m of alleyways. |
