This project consists of HVAC , windows, and other interior and building envelope upgrades for multiple schools across the Halifax Region Centre for Education (HRCE). The objective is to modernize building systems and controls to improve efficiency, and to repair and strengthen school buildings for students and staff. The work also includes system wide HVAC upgrades for existing portable classrooms (all sites included in kml file). The project locations are as follows: Admiral Westphal School; Auburn Drive High School; Bedford South; Charles P Allen; Duc d’Anville Elizabeth Sutherland Elementary; Fairview Heights; Halifax West High; Hammonds Plains; Harbourview School; Horizon (formerly Tallahassee); Ian Forsyth Elementary; Inglis Street Elementary; Joseph Howe Elementary; Kingswood Elementary; Madeline Symonds;Oceanview School; Oxford School; Sunnyside Elementary; Astral Drive Elementary; Astral Drive Jr High; Beechville Lakeside Timberlea; Cole Harbour High School; Crichton Park Elementary; Georges P. Vanier; John W. MacLeod; Leslie Thomas Junior High; Michael Wallace; Millwood; Oldfield Consolidated; Portland Estates; Sackville Heights Elementary; Saint Mary’s; St. Margaret’s Bay Elementary.
