American Rare Earths is considering building a processing facility for hard-to-find heavy rare earth metals at its Halleck Creek mine near Wheatland, Wyoming. The project aims to mine and process heavy rare earths like terbium, dysprosium, and samarium, which are critical for high-tech applications. The facility would be the first of its kind in Wyoming and would add jobs and economic value by taking the rare earths from mine to metal within the state.
