Description | The Hamburg Hydrogen Industry Network (HH-WIN) is being developed by Hamburg Energienetze as a hydrogen pipeline network to decarbonize local industry, planned to go into operation in 2027. The initial pipeline length is 40 kilometers, expanding to 60 kilometers by 2031/32, connecting producers, import terminals, and industrial offtakers including tesa. tesa, an international adhesive tape manufacturer, received EUR 950,000 funding from IFB Hamburg to support hydrogen infrastructure and conversion of production processes. The plant will be supplied with hydrogen from HH-WIN starting 2027, supporting tesa's transformation toward climate-neutral production. |
