Description | Includes capital construction on 3 streets needed for sewer separation and to reduce basement flooding potential downstream as well as combined sewer overflow events. Additionally, the watermain and roads are in poor condition. Hamilton Street: Limits extend from Sixth Avenue to Stanley Avenue. Replace combined sewer with 390 meters of new sanitary sewer ranging in diameter from 200 mm to 375 mm and 385 meters of new storm sewer ranging in diameter from 375 mm to 900 mm. Install 380 meters of new 150 mm diameter watermain and reconstruct the road, including new sidewalks, curbs and gutters. The project includes new sanitary laterals with cleanouts at the property line and new water services with curb stops at the property line for 32 lots. Homewood Avenue: Limits extend from Bridge Street to north limit. Replace combined sewer with 190 meters of new sanitary sewer ranging in diameter from 200 mm to 375 mm and 130 meters of new storm sewer ranging in diameter from 375 mm to 900 mm. Install 200 meters of new 150 mm diameter watermain and reconstruct the road, including new sidewalks, curbs and gutters. The project includes new sanitary laterals with cleanouts at the property line and new water services with curb stops at the property line for 23 lots. Menzie Street: Limits extend from Homewood Avenue to Stanley Avenue Replace combined sewer with 210 meters of new sanitary sewer ranging in diameter from 200 mm to 375 mm and 200 meters of new storm sewer ranging in diameter from 375 mm to 900 mm. Install 200 meters of new 150 mm diameter watermain and reconstruct the road, including new sidewalks, curbs and gutters. The project includes new sanitary laterals with cleanouts at the property line and new water services with curb stops at the property line for 26 lots. Hydrants will be replaced for each as well. |
