The project gathers four organisations (three local handball clubs and one NGO) from Croatia, Slovenia, and Hungary, each dedicated to promoting youth sports and healthy living in their communities​. It addresses common challenges such as low youth physical activity and limited sports opportunities in disadvantaged or rural areas by leveraging handball as a tool for health and social inclusion. The main goal is to establish international cooperation in promoting handball as a healthy, sustainable activity for children​. The project will implement three core activities in cooperation among partners: 1. Each club will create a Local Action Plan to make handball more inclusive and accessible in its community (e.g. reducing costs, improving outreach), especially for children facing economic or geographical obstacles​. 2. Partners will run free handball training programs for under-13 children, providing regular practice sessions, necessary equipment, and local mini-tournaments to engage kids who typically lack access to organized sports​. 3. Coach Workshops: The clubs will organize joint workshops for coaches and staff to exchange best practices, mentorship, and training techniques. These sessions (in-person and online) will help improve coaching skills and foster a collaborative network among the clubs​ Duration: 24 months Budget: 60.000 EUR
