Description | In November 2012, construction of the phase one of the 2GW PV solar power plant sponsored by a local private company Hanergy Group commenced in Xinhe County, Akesu District, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The capacity of the project was 20MW. The total investment was RMB 266.0854 million (US$ 42.95 million) and Hanergy Group had a 100% stake in the project. The plant was completed and put into operation in November 2013. Hanergy Group would operate the PV plant for 25 years till 2038. |
