Description | CRRC Nanjing Puzhen has unveiled the first trainset designed for the future Hangzhou Metro Line 12, which will be the city's first line equipped for unattended automatic operation. The line will have a fleet of 29 four-car trainsets and four six-car trainsets, designated Type AH, operating with a GoA4 system covering the entire operating cycle including automatic wake-up, shutdown, self-diagnostics, automated train washing, depot entry and exit, and automatic train operation at speeds up to 100 km/h. The first phase of Line 12 will run fully underground for 26 km connecting western districts of Hangzhou, with opening planned by the end of 2027. |
