Harmony Creek Trail extension in Oshawa ON

The applicant plans to create multiple multi-use/recreational trails to add to the City’s existing Harmony Creek Trail. Furthermore, the City proposes to construct a bridge to be installed across the Harmony Creek to provide pedestrian and cyclist access between Esterbrook Drive and Arborwood Drive. It will add approximately 1km to the City’s multi-use recreational trail network, and provide a 3m wide, paved, multi-use recreational trail, and a bridge will be installed across the Harmony Creek to provide safe pedestrian and cyclist access. In addition to connecting to the City’s existing trail system, the Harmony Creek Trail extension will provide an accessible off-road, active transportation route for residents to walk to a nearby recreation centre, schools, retail stores, restaurants and regional transit hub.
