Description | Economic/Social Impact of the Project In the First Phase, this is a 1x660 MW [Super critical] imported coal based Thermal Project located in Hassan District in Karnataka. Land, for the Project has already been allotted by KIADB and advance paid by us for 605 Acres of land adequate for the Project. The plot is situated 10 km from the Hassan town. The Project has received 0.74 TMC water allocation from Hemavathy Reservoir under an Agreement signed with the State Govt for 25 years. Fuel is on a pass through basis . MOEF clearance for 660 MW has already been received. Update as of 01.05.2020- Matter is in the Arbitral Tribunal due to grievance and disputes of Hassan Power Ltd with Govt of Karnataka and KPTCL under UNCITRAL rules. |
