Hasset Meditech is a syringe factory that is under construction in the eastern part of Ethiopias'-called DireDawa city. It is started with the objective of producing high-quality disposable syringes and delivering them to the users at an affordable price. Since it’s the first syringe factory in the country it has a great role for import substitution and the company and has an export plan of 30 % of its total production to the neigh*boring markets in Djibouti, Somali land, and Somalia when it reaches full capacity production. The company expects equity stakes from foreign partner that will contribute to the successful completion of the project in terms of machinery and technology transfer. The total investment cost of the project including working capital is estimated to be USD 2,852,080.2 out of this USD 856,058.1(30%) will be covered by the promoter .
