Description
Description | Haut et Court is an independent production and distribution company dedicated to local and international films and high end TV series. Since its creation in 1992, Haut et Court has built a broad and diversified network of local and international partners, establishing itself as a key player in the market. The annual slate is composed of three to four feature films; and one series, 2024 being an exception with 3 series (Constellation with AppleTV+, Mister Spade with AMC/Canal+/Black Bear and No Man’s Land season 2 with Arte). We are currently submitting five projects: • Rosa Candida, written and directed by Clara Lemaire-Anspach, with contributions from Maud Ameline and Romain Compingt • Thank You Charlotte, written and directed by Berkun Oya • 1989, directed by Marie Amachoukeli and co-written with Maya Haffar • Isabelle, directed by Léa Fehner and co-written with Catherine Paillé • Vivian Maier, written by Susanne Farrell Rosa Candida marks the debut of Clara Lemaire-Anspach, a highly promising French filmmaker. 1989 and Isabelle, on the other hand, are led by well-established French talents Marie Amachoukeli and Léa Fehner, three female directors with an unique and very personal voice. Thank You Charlotte and Vivian Maier highlight our collaborations with internationally renowned writers and filmmakers on ambitious projects with a very strong and idiosyncratic vision. These five projects incarnate Haut et Court's dedication to championing diverse talents, showcasing voices from different backgrounds, experiences, and creative approaches. Each of these projects stands out in their tone, style, and scope, thus reflecting Haut et Court's ongoing commitment to working with innovative creative partners, promoting cultural diversity, and strengthening their position in the European market. More than ever, MEDIA’s support is crucial in supporting their dedication to creation while maintaining their independence in a highly competitive global industry. |
