Hawthorne Connections Study

The Hawthorne Connections Study is exploring new walking and biking improvements along Hawthorne Avenue and Harriman Street. The study aims to address gaps in the City’s low‑stress network, which connects to the planned Hawthorne Crossing bike and pedestrian bridge. The project team will share street concepts for Hawthorne Avenue between Third and Fifth streets and Harriman Street between Greenwood and Franklin avenues. The team will also be collecting community input to further refine the design concepts. This project does not have funding for full design or construction at this time. The study will help to better understand community needs and position the project for future funding.
