Description | Hidrovias do Brasil S.A (“HDB”) is developing a barge operation in the Paraguay-Parana river system in South America through a wholly owned Uruguay-based subsidiary. The Project consists of the acquisition, operation and maintenance of a push boat and barge fleet for the transport of iron ore from Corumba in Brazil down the river system for consumption and export. The Project is expected to deploy 8 convoys in the river system with an estimated annual capacity of over 3 million tons. |
