Description | The proposed investment comprises an equity investment of up to INR 2.2 billion (approximately US$25 million equivalent) in HDFC AMC Structured Credit Fund- I (HDFC SCF-I or the Fund), a scheme of HDFC AMC Structured Credit AIF-I. The Fund is the first credit fund to be raised and managed by HDFC Asset Management Company Limited (HDFC AMC or the Fund Manager), with a target fund size of INR15-25 billion (US$170-284 million equivalent). The Fund will invest primarily in secured debt instruments issued by performing mid-market companies in India, providing access to financing which is not otherwise available from traditional banks and NBFCs (the Project). |
