HeliX will connect health data holders and secondary health data users - such as pharmaceutical companies, healthcare data analysts, contract research organizations, academic institutions, healthcare authorities and other government agencies - via the HeliX Platform without compromising data security. The HeliX Platform will be developed from TRL6 to TRL9, to reach a market-ready commercial product and platform service tailored to the healthcare domain. It will be ready to supply a sustainable health ecosystem for research, innovation and market analytics across sovereign data spaces, by creating interoperability between fragmented health databases, enabling machine learning, health data analysis, research and innovation on big data sets, while meeting relevant data protection requirements. HeliX will enable and facilitate advancements and discoveries in healthcare, such as drug efficacy, predictive analytics for patient risk stratification, AI-powered diagnostic tools in radiology and genomics, early diagnosis and precision medicine/personalized treatments.
