Description
Description | HEAL-D seeks to transform vocational education and training (VET) in Albania and Kosovo, addressing the urgent need to strengthen digital health capabilities amid rapidly evolving technologies. The project’s purpose is to bridge critical gaps in workforce readiness, equipping health professionals and educators with essential skills to navigate a technology-driven healthcare landscape. Over two years, HEAL-D aims to foster a resilient, inclusive VET system by developing innovative curricula, training guides, digital tools, and practical experiences like internships, integrating telemedicine, artificial intelligence diagnostics, and cybersecurity. Led by a collaborative consortium—including BUPNET’s European VET expertise, Xenios Polis’s innovative training methods, UET’s academic and labor market insights, NAPH’s public health leadership, KPU’s dual-learning focus, and AMECCR’s medical education innovation—the initiative targets health workers, educators, and employers. Through sustained transnational cooperation, HEAL-D envisions long-term societal benefits, empowering communities, strengthening health systems, and driving sustainable progress in digital health education across the region. |
