Description | This project involves the installation/replacement of three generators. The generators will be fixed assets. This project involves the addition of a second generator at Prince County Hospital (750KW) and the replacement of outdated generators at Beach Grove Home (350KW) and Hillsborough Hospital (50KW). New generators at these facilities will be sized to provide a minimum of 48 hours of backup power. Meeting CSA hospital electrical standards will minimizes risk of power failure to patients, and lessens the risk of hospital evacuation in the event of a prolonged power outage. |
