Description | The Health Sciences Centre (HSC) - Cooling/Condensing Unit Replacement Phase 1 project (the Project) consists of upgrading cooling capacity in order to provide suitable environmental conditions. A lack of sufficient cooling capacity results in the site needing to limit the amount of outdoor air in order to maintain the facility within safe temperatures during summer design conditions. The Project supports the ventilation category objective of increasing outdoor air intake and/or air cleaning in a publicly-owned infrastructure asset that serves populations that are more susceptible to poor outcomes if they contract COVID-19. |
